Fonda Tokushige, LCSW, is the founder of TeugByeolHan Therapy and Life Coaching Services.
Fonda is passionate about helping people develop psychological flexibility, resilience and confidence to handle life’s curveballs. Her practice emphasizes recovering from traumatic responses through the exploration of cultural and intergenerational histories. Her attentive and tailored approach to therapy combines research-based practices with hands-on help, including curating resources to reinforce learning. By merging therapy and life coaching services, her clients get the tools they need to transform what they learn in therapy into real, measurable growth.

Fonda Tokushige earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology with a minor in Asian American Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2009. She went on to earn a Master of Social Welfare from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2011. Following graduation, Fonda worked for various programs through the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health. This time of service proved to be invaluable as she had the distinct privilege and opportunity to assist some of the most vulnerable people in our local communities. Her time with LA County led her to Kaiser Permanente where she worked as a Psychiatric Social Worker for six years before starting her private practice in 2018.
